Proposal

I chose this image because it a more of a modern and do able Film Noir. The lighting being used for this will be a more harsh light coming in from the side giving a dark back ground at the back, also have one pointing upwards. The Locations would be inside the sound booth as its an ideal place to take picture of something really dark such as this. The equipment ill need is a small light and a fairly bigger light and a directed light. The camera setting ill be using is Program and the ISO setting will be on about 800
I think this image would able a good one to try and recreate not necessarily the blind but i could work something out. The location will be in the sound booth due to how dark it can get. The only problem will be whether or not the spacing is good. The lighting ill use will be a back drop lighting and a front light that is angles down a little. The equipment ill need will be two set of light and blinds, the lights will have to be rather small and run on battery as my location might not have plug sockets so maybe a torch would be applicable. The ISO will be around the high mark of 800 and the setting will be on program to make things easier
I think this picture of poker would be a good picture to recreate as it captures a lot of the gambling side of film noir. The Picture can be done anywhere dimly lit up so a class room or another small room. The lighting will be natural light with another light shining down on the poker board. The equipment need will be a plain light, a poker set and a poker board. The settings on the camera will be at 200 ISO and on the setting of Program.
I think I could recreate this picture rather well and it shows a good essence of film noir with the street light and the man in a trench coat. to recreate this photo ill need somewhere rather large so a class room or a studio as i need to capture lights. The equipment for this project will be three small light on large light and an Sheesha Pen to act as the smoke. The settings will be on Program at about 800 ISO
